NHS Live Brief: DIABETES PREVENTION
With vague client details, I was left dissatisfied with little to no creative freedom. I felt my creativity is sacrificed to conform to corporate style, even colour palette is limited. I can now recognize this is not the right attitude to approach a new project.
week 1 – researching brand. making style frames. determined for lead designer.

week 2- assigned assistant designer 2D. working in a team, working around communication difficulties and having to outsource / rely on others for assets so doing what we can now.

Feedback from peers: great colour contrasts, clear, good use of background and phone orientation. Puzzle Pieces are too small to be instantly recognizable, therefore reduced clarity.
Personal view: intentionally over complicated the puzzle to integrate a personal skill of character dsign, within corporate style boundaries, hoping it would involve a personal narrative to motivate the audience and notice the personal usefulness of the NHS app, emphasising individual support. However this distracts from the overall message.
Only through comparing the chosen style frame with mine did I recognize my ambition concealed the key elements of the brief, where my style was non transferable and too complex as well as not being comprehensive + clear enough in the first place.
